Mission Statement and Goals

The Coalition's mission statement and goals are:

(1) To gather, convey, represent and negotiate the expressed interests, issues and concerns of homeowners of Lake Murray and the Saluda River tributaries to the FERC, SCE&G and to State and Federal Agencies prior to, during and after the SCE&G Saluda Hydroelectric Project licensing renewal activity.

(2) To provide representation for homeowners during the Saluda Hydroelectric Project relicensing and to establish a voice of representation for homeowners regarding Lake Murray issues in the future.

(3)To unify and leverage the voice of various Lake Murray homeowners groups and civic organizations. Provide awareness and education to Lake Murray homeowners regarding lake impacting issues and finally to interface with State and Federal Agencies regarding Lake Murray issues.
